I recently took an Australian
delegation from my office for a tour to Amritsar. One the first day, we visited
the famous “Golden Temple” and few other tourist destinations, the very typical
ones. The tour was planned for 4 days but by the end of the second day, we had
covered almost everything and there was nothing much to see. I, being an Indian
had few friends in Amritsar, but unfortunately, did not have the option of
leaving my clients and going to meet them. It was so frustrating, spending two
days with unknown people in a hotel lobby talking business and not being able
to meet my friends who stayed just 3 kms away from my hotel. Business
etiquettes were standing in my way.
On the evening of the second day,
our hotel receptionist told me about the AlphaOne City Centre mall in Amritsar.
At first, I was averse to the idea of taking the team to a mall as they were
from “Australia” and malls are a common site there, but since I had no option I
planned a trip to the mall. It was also a part of the list of “places to visitin Amritsar”. This masterpiece is

infrastructure. It is not a mall but an entertainment heaven. The Amritsari
bazaar, the food court and the entertainment zones are magicall. Go and see for yourself, let the suspense
